Superfood Green Smoothie

This delicious and refreshing green smoothie is jam packed with vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, and so much more!

Superfood Green Smoothie

Yield: approx. 2 ½ cups

Prep Time: 5 min


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach or kale

  • 1 large apple, chopped

  • 1 cup diced pineapple

  • ½ ripe avocado

  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves

  • 2 tablespoons date syrup

  • ¼ teaspoon ginger powder

  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon maca powder

  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

  • 1 ½ cup water

  • Ice cubes

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine and blend all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may add more water for a thinner texture, if you desire.

  2. Enjoy immediately!
