Herbs & Spices

Herbs and spices have been used by humans for centuries for both culinary and medicinal purposes. Spices not only enrich the flavor, aroma, and color of foods and beverages, but they also protect the body from disease. The herbs and spices listed below have extensive amounts of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer properties that boost cardiovascular, cognitive, immune, and digestive health. 

Below is a list of commonly used herbs and spices in my recipes:
